What is Meet the Firms?
Meet the Firms is a great opportunity to build connections in the accounting field! You will have the chance to talk 1-on-1 with professionals and recruiters at various firms in the Chicagoland area, and get your name out there!
Freshman – Firms recruit early! Many firms will begin accepting applications for Summer Leadership Conferences or internships (Summer 2022) after Meet the Firms takes place (Fall 2021). It’s never too early to build connections, and next year, when you are seeking internships, you’ll know how to network in a career fair setting.
Sophomores – Firms are recruiting for Winter / Summer 2023 internships! These are internships for your junior year.
Juniors/Seniors/Graduate Students – Firms are recruiting for full-time positions!
How Do I Register?
Registration Opens (via Handshake): Thursday, January 6th 2022
Important Reminders:
1. You may register for the fair and sign up for sessions from the start date (January 6th) until the scheduled end of the fair on the day-of. We encourage you to occasionally check after your initial registration to see if new firms have registered for the event or additional time slots have opened up.
2. You must register for each day individually. There are two events set up on Handshake.
3. Register early as spots will fill up quickly. Each slot is ten minutes.
4. You may NOT sign up for more than one slot with a firm.
5. Please be considerate of professionals’ and students’ time. If you cannot make a prescheduled time, cancel the slot at least 1 hour in advance.
